Introduction

If vacuum cleaners have a mortal enemy, it is pet hair.
This works its way into fabrics and carpets with a persistence that seems to defy the laws of physics. If you love your pets but not their hair, you need a tool that can remove it from your floors and furniture. Many high-end models come with special tools to do this on carpets and fabric surfaces. These usually work by using an air-powered rotating brush that helps to lift the hair from the fabric, so it can then be sucked up by the cleaner. These tools work, but they sometimes require a significant amount of time and work to get the hair up. The most effective pet hair cleaning tool that we found was the aptly-named Dyson DC28 Animal.
